Do any of you all use the online daily food & exercise journals like fitday.com or the dailyplate.com or others?

If you do, which ones do you use and how do you like them?
Thanks!

I like thedailyplate.com .   Its simple to use and you can find all kinds of foods you eat and it breaks it down pretty well too.  I also find it easy to print out and take to my doctor and nut for my check ups so they can see what I have been eating and doing for exercise.

Jen,

Dailyplate.com is the best as Terri said, it has all the food choices in it. Fitday.com is little more complicated and does not have the food choices you have enter alot of food labels.

Good luck

Hugs,
Terri

Hi Jennifer,

I use sparkpeople.com

I really like this site. You get recipes, alot of great articles to read on many different subjects, exercise routins and explanation on how to do them and videos.. There are teams that you can join and get encourgement.

Thanks, Cira!
I'll check sparkpeople out.  I hadn't heard of that one.  One of my friends on the DS board just told me about this one today too!   The other two seemed way too complicated.  If sparkpeople doesn't seem more user-friendly I will just keep a written daily food and exercise journal.  I just want to make sure I am staying within the guidelines I am supposed to after surgery, so I can lose as much weight as possible.  It will help keep me honest with myself and get in enough protein water and vitamins.  The thing I have to watch most is the simple carbs.  I will still absorb 100% of those and have to keep them low.  Even with the complex carbs I have to be careful because i will still absorb 60% of those I eat.  You can tell I am getting primed and ready for surgery next month.

Keep me posted on what you think of sparkpeople.  i really like it and I don't think it is hard at all.
You are doing your homework and that is great! I did the same, some people go in blindly to have this surgery and I believe that is wrong.

Hugs
