was gino diabetic, if so i am soooo looking forward to the surgery, they say it does cure most type 2 diabetics congradulations and keep up the good work gino

Yes Gino used to take insulin at one point then they had him on two different meds. His is losing his eyesight because of the diabetes. he was on Januvia and actoplus.. Dr. Von Rueden stopped the Actoplus. **** Correction I was just told the Doctor stopped all diabetes meds*****!!! He just checked his sugar and it was 88. I am beyond thrilled!

My diabetes has been resolved. My diabetes would get horrible with my pregnancies where I had to take 5 shots of insulin a day.
Since I got pregnant 3 months from having surgery. (Not my intention) my diabetes was resolved and it was perfect throughout the entire pregnancy.

So yes I hope it resolves his diabetes and yours copmpletely!

Cira: tell Gino that the eyesight may improve with the diabetes under control-
I had an eye exam 1 week postop and three months later I went back again because the perscription had changed : The eye Dr was amazed - he said he'd never seen
an improvement in such a short time.

I was. I was on 4 shots of insulin a day. When I left the hospital 2 days after surgery my blood sugar was in the 70s and 80s and I no longer needed insulin. I went to my endocrinologist Wednesday and he said my A1C was 5.1 and said that was "perfect"!

Hopefully yours will be resolved, too!
