Having surgery on Tues to fix my tummy
I'm going in next Tuesday hopefully for the last time, I have to be there at 12:30 and my surgery is at 3. The surgery scheduler at my surgeons office said to be prepared to stay overnight also.
Soo next Tuesday, my surgeon will be going in and sectioning off the Afferent limb (she thinks that my food is going into there from my pouch instead of my intestine) which is what is causing my severe bloating, pain and nausea after eating. She's going to explore around and see if she finds anything else going on too. Soo we shall see..
I'm very anxious about this one. It could be the answer to my problems and complications that I've dealt with all this time sooo it will definitely be a blessing if this is the fix.

Misty,
I hope and pray that the dr is able to find and fix your problem. Please have your sister post an update on how you made out ok.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Misty,
Best wishes that this is the END of it and she gets you all fixed up.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
