Did any one have Dr. Vanguri?

I have been going to support meeting at Franklyn Squre with Dr. Apparao Vanguri.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about him and his staff?

Hi Chrissy,  There are usually a couple of Post-Op patients at the meetings and  Dr Vanguri attends as well. I got the sense that he is a caring, competent surgeon. I chose to go with another surgeon because  I wanted to have the procedure done laproscopicly.  I hope you get the chance to connect with someone at the meeting who can answer your questions.  Peace and Blessings, -Antoinette

I thought he did laproscopily? I'll have to ask at the next meeting. Where did you go and where else is there support meetings?

I went with Dr. Babek Moeinolmolki @GBMC in Towson.  They have support group meetings the 3rd Wednesday of the month (you just missed the one for this month). They also have information seminars where they discuss the different types of procedures offered and answer any of the medical questions you may have. Dr. Moein does not usually attend the support group meetings.  Other meetings I've heard about are @ St Agnes Hospital and Bayview Medical Center both in Baltimore. I'm not sure when they meet. I do know that there are a lot of folks on the MD board who go to the St. Agnes meetings - so look out for the post - just ask on the boards and someone will be able to help you with that information.
