One Hurdle Jumped!
I went to see my primary doctor today, to talk to him about WLS. I was really nervous because I wasn't sure what his thoughts on the subject would be. Turns out his wife is a nutritionist at the Bayview bariatric clinic. My doc is going to be behind me 100%. He said I'm at a good time in my life, and I have the right mindset to have it done. He's going to work with me to get everything I need to get approved!! One less thing to worry about.

I know your happy about your PCP being behind ya!!! I was lucky like u, and my PCP too was behind me. Actually, I'm his 30th patient who has WLS Surgery! He even actually gave me a big ole hug when I was in there for my Pre-Op Physical...lol

Isn't it wonderful when your PCP is part of your support system? I have a fabulous PCP and he and the two gals in his office are always cheering me on.
I had an appointment with him last week and all he could do was smile and pat me on the back!
He also worked very closely with Dr. Singh when my cirrhosis was discovered and he makes sure I get all of my testing done on time to keep track of what's happening with the liver.
He's a true God send in my book......
Glad you have a supportive PCP too. It really does make our journey better.
Hugs,
Deb
