WEDNESDAY EXERCISE

Sorry no exercise post the last couple days, but I was busy taking care of some personal stuff in Pennsylvania.  I got home last night.  I'm right back on track this afternoon, however.  I'm going for a 5 mile run with the intentions on making my way up to 7 miles by the end of the week.

Time once again to turn things up a notch, my friends, as the October 5th 5K is literally right around the corner.  Even if you're walking it, 3.1 miles is a long distance if you're not trained for it.  What are you doing today to get ready for it, if you're one of us that are doing it?  Even if it's not on your agenda, where are you at in your exercise plans today?

Have a fantastic day, as it is supposed to be absolutely beautiful today.  Take full advantage of it.  Take a nice long walk, bring the dog, kids, husband, wife, whomever.  Get out and move today!!!

Hey Andy!!!!!! I'm one of the October 5k'ers and the last I left the gym, I was doing 2.75 miles in an hour! I need to ramp it up to 3 so that's what I'm currently working on. Lately I've been having hip and lower back pain issues but I try to push through them!

Aaron, that is absolutely fantastic.  Your time is super.  Keep up the hard work and I have no doubt you'll be able to finish that race in less than an hour.  Remember, you'll only get out of it what you put into it, just like anything else in life.  CONGRATS on the time my friend!!!

After not being able to work out all of last weekend, I have been really pushing myself to go each day this week. I went Monday and Tuesday and plan on going tonight. On the agenda tonight - treadmill and weight circuit.

Hey there Antoinette!  Where do you go to the gym?  I go to Bally's in White Marsh.  Just got back, wasn't too crowded today (4:30-5:30).

Revised to VSG (6/11/09) weighing 253...
