Is there a Howard county support group?

that any one knows of?  Sorry I haven't been posting much.  My job is taking it's toll.  I'm pretty excited...I have all my pre-op tests schedued now.  No surgery date yet but I think I'm looking at late to early Oct.  I hope it doesn't get any closer to the holidays so I can get acclimated prior to challenged eating events. Ha, that's a way to put Thanksgiving!  Any way, just wondering if any know of a support group closer to home than JH.

I am not sure but I had my surgery at GBMC which is in Towson. In fact there is a meeting there at 6pm tomorrow in the Cafeteria there. I go there from Fort Meade every third Wednesday of the month.

Try the St. Agnes group.
It is the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 6-7pm.
The first tries to focus on bypass and the 3rd on band... but anyone is welcome no matter where they are in their journey or which surgery they choose.
The meeting is in the Alagia (spelling?) conference room near the main entrance.

Hi Mari! There's also the Carroll county group that meets once a month (next "meeting" which is my birthday party) is this friday at Frisco Family Pub in Westminster
