GOOD MORNING MARYLAND

Tia will have sporatic internet access this week due to office renovations ( again)
So I will start this thread off and running.  

1,   3 weeks till VACAY
2.  For getting to spend time with friends this weekend.  Saturday Kathy, Toni and I
shopped for around 5-6 hours;  last year no way would I have attempted that one.
Got some good deals at Curve Appeal; and had a lot of laughs with them.
Yesterday was spent with a bunch of board members at Ciras Lunch.
A good time was had by all.
3.  That even though I think my toe is broken I can handle the situation myself;
preop I would have needed someone else to tape it up - Hell I would have needed
someone else to even look at it.

I have so much to be grateful for.  Life is good and can only get better. I am learning that life is what you make of it.  If you choice to live in  reality it is all good, not meaning that reality is always good.  Life will always have its little curve balls, it just depends on how you want to hit that ball.

1.) My daughter, it was a great weekend with her.  She is my shining star.  I was brought back to the day of my infertility struggles.  By a friend of my mothers.  I remember the 5 years it took to have her and how much she was wanted.  She is my miracle that I continue to mold everyday.


2.) Memories, they are a wonderful thing we have in life to hold on too.  We don't have to pay for them, there free and they are ours to keep.  It can make us smile when we are down.

3.) My friends are just amazing people.  The bond that you can have with someone that is not your own blood is just intoxicating.  I hold all my old and new friends so close to my heart. 

4.) A good cry!  I had an amazing cry this past weekend, really it was all day Saturday (see my other post).  I feel like all these toxins have been released.  I think everyone needs a really good cry once in a good while.  I got months of stress and sorrow out of this body and I feel free again.

5.) AND THIS IS IT!    Physical Therapy! WOW it hurts like hell but it will all work out in the end.   PT said I have a great mind set! I can start swimming today, just no laps. Ok I can live with that.

Lefty is still hanging on.   He's weak but insists on following me around and is drinking water.   This morning I had him drinking out of a paper cup in the upstairs bathroom and finally went down to the kitchen and got a bowl to leave up there for him.

Yesterday was a blast!   I got the pictures off the camera but it's a matter of lookimg at them and putting them somewhere.   I will definitely try to do that tonight.

It is Monday and a fresh week to make of it what I want!

I am really looking forward to when you post the pictures from Sunday.  I'm really glad someone took pics since I had to miss it. 

thankful for my SO hes so sweet , i only have a shower at my place , spent bd weekend there and had hot bath with salts and of course he came and washed my back.
2.  friends to celebrate a nice lunchen at Shuckers in fells point and a few drinks at Bertas and some other place i dont remember the name but it was a beautiful day on the water people watching and just sharing a nice lunch with
3. Son called and tells me he loves me just picks up my day
4.  all my friends here on the maryland board.

1.  That I am back on the board with my biggest supporters.
2.  Cub Scout Camp...a few days peace and quiet.
3.  The nice mild weather we have been having.

although i missed sunday's lunch, i had a wonderful time at six flags. i am half dead and sunburned because of it but it was worth it. i am grateful for my rny, all the possibilities in my life, and my family and friends and furbabies.

1. FRIDAY IS AROUND THE CORNER!!!!! I can't wait to meet y'all!!!!

2. I hit my halfway mark this weekend....and in addition to this, I can fit into a size LARGE shirt!!!!

3. I had one more day to spend with my friend that's going to be on a plane today who is moving to Germany.

4. I just got an email from one of my friends in Canada.....I'm getting a call from his HR department today!!!!!!!

ummmm Canada :  Aaron you cann't leave us   ; got that  you just ignore that email LOL

LOL!!!!! Well I'll still be on my beloved Maryland board if I can get into Canada, I'll be so much closer to my good friends (although you all are good friends for me too.....these people are family for me)
