Mine requires no less than 60 on the protein and they did not give me a total on the carbs only to keep them at a minimum.

My nut asked that we start out with getting AT LEAST 60 grams of protein. and I think I read somewhere in my NUT's documentation that we should limit carbs to about 40 grams per day. However, I started out getting about 70 - 80 grams of protein a day (through supplements) and my carbs were almost zero. Now I have a few carbs but they are WHOLE GRAIN carbs so those are better than say....a slice of white bread. I don't think I get over 40 grams of carbs a day. I usually have some sort of whole grain crackers with my lunch and dinner and those I keep to about 20 grams per serving.

Hey Char,

According to my " WLS Bible" that I was given by the nutritionist, it says to get 60-70 grams of protein per day, the more the better and to steer clear of carbs.

I had a hard time getting in the protein, but eventually learned new recipes and ways to incorporate it, it doesn't take much thought now.

Good luck!
