I did meet your parents at the picnic last year and they are so sweet and loving.
I am sorry your Dad is going through all this.  I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
It is never easy to see a loved one suffering in so much pain and going through so much with cancer. I can totally relate to your pain because I have been through that very painful path in the past.

Wishing your family all the best.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Cira,
Thank you for the prayers and thoughts. Yes, this is very difficult but he's such a fighter and that inspires me.

Gina,
Thank you so much and yes, I know you know how it feels right now too. I PMed you back with my number as well. He's starting radiation tomorrow (nine days straight) and we'll see how that goes and if they can finally get the pain under control at the same time. Keeping fingers crossed and prayers.

I will give you a call tonight sweetie.  Keep your head up and stay strong.  I will be thinking of your dad today and wishing him all the best!  Of course, thinking of you and sending you a great big (((HUG))).

Heather, my dear friend, I'm so sorry that you have this amount of stress in your life. I know you'll deal with it with your usual amount of grace, but I ca

n't imagine how hard it is for you. I will keep you, your family and your BF in my prayers for sure. Please tell your BF God bless him and his unit  for what they are doing in service to our country! My cousin recently returned stateside after 2 years in the middle east. It is quite a relief for our family.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting your dad, but was lucky enough to meet your mom. I'm sure this time is very difficult for all of you. I just hope they are able to make your father comfortable, so that he can continue to fight and hopefully heal. Your devotion for him, and your whole family is an inspiration.

Prayers are most definitely coming! I'm glad you had a place that you could come to vent. You are most welcome to do that anytime. You need the release!
Hugs!

Kathy,
Thank you so much! They are going to start a nine day round of radiation so we'll see what happens from there. Not sure about the BF right now either, you know how the military is....you never know when they can go or when they will come back. I just pray he's safe and will be with me soon. Besides....he HAS to meet my dad! LOL
