laurie, i could look at your before and after pictures in your profile all day long.  and i think it's great that you're so comfortable in your new skin! 

Thank you so much. I am comfortable many days but there is lots of room to grow . There are still some days I can't even see a difference but it gets less and less and further and further apart. I am just so excited about life. I never remember caring if I lived or not and 3 yrs ago I was sure my life would be in my little hospital bed looking out the window waiting to die. Every little thing was a gift and "WOW" did I get more than I ever dreamed.Have a great day

I am so happy for you. What an amazing journey you have traveled through. I just could sit here in awe all day long reading how wonderful you are doing.  It always amazes me of how far you have come.  You are truly an inspiration to me. 
A size 8 OMG girl I am just thrilled beyond words.

Thank you Cira. It was awesome to talk to you. Thank you so much. It is so funny because I always  think how amazing you are and how great you look. You inspire me so I guess we will inspire each other which is the awesome thing about this board and support groups we all inspire each other and that will help us stay on track since this is a forever journey there is no destination. We will always have to live a healthy lifestyle or it will come back and with each other "One Day at a Time" we can do it. I now I can't do it alone.

I always have a wonderful time when we get a chance to talk. I am sorry it hasn't been often, but I promise to call you more now. 
Girl I always read about the things you do and I akways say I want to be just like Laurie when I grow up!  lol

What a transformation!!  Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your journey it is truly inspiring especially for a new post op.   It was such a pleasure meeting you last month at the St. Agnes Support Group and I look forward to getting to know you better.  

A size 8 I'll bet at one time you only thought you could have dreamed that!!!

  Thank you.It was great to get to know you and i too hope we get to know each other better. You are right I don't think I was born a size 8.  It helps me and makes me feel good if I can help  someone. I never dreamed I would get this far so I love helping someone and hope they can get further than they ever dreamed because I only wish I could bottle how good it feels to do something you have been told will never happen. You have done an amazing job.  Everytime I see you, you are just melting away. You are a beautiful woman and I am so proud of you.
You have done wonders with your WLS and have showed me that all things a possible. Pictures speak a thousand words, just look at you.  You stay proud and keep up the good work.
