SAYING GOODBYE

TO ALL MY 3X AND 4 X CLOTHES TODAY;  WAS BAGGING THEM UP TO TAKE TO CONSIGNMENT SHOP  AND I GOT ALL TEARY EYED ;  PLEASE SOMEONE
TELL ME THIS IS NORMAL???

EVEN THOUGH I AM BUYING EXTRA LARGE AND 1X NOW THERE IS A PART
OF ME THAT DOESN'T WANT TO GIVE UP THE BIG SIZES

HAS ANYONE ELSE GONE THRU THIS?

I went through a time when I would not get rid of my larger clothes.  It's not tht I thought I needed them.  But, there were somethings that I really liked and I didn't want to lose them.  Silly I know but man, I really liked my 3X black leather jacket.  It made me look so thin.  LOL!!  At least I thought so at the time.

i'm no where near that phase yet, but i can understand it.  i think i would have this fear of gaining back all my weight and needing those clothes. 

I KEPT ONE T SHIRT ( IT WAS MY FAV. ) AND MY BELT!!!! OTHER THAN THAT I GOT RID OF ALL OF THAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!

I will probably feel the same way.  I would be having that familiar fear about weight regain.  It's just so hard to acceopt that the weight will never come back.  It's gone! 

I had trouble saying goodbye to certain pieces. I kept one pair of jeans, and one of my fav tops. They are my "before". But, I had some favorites that were hard to say goodbye to.

I had a lot of trouble saying goodbye to favorite stores to shop in. I got very used to shopping at the Avenue. They have good prices, great styles, and I felt at home. I'm still not used to not shopping there, lol.

Oh sweetie this is normal to a lot of people. 
I had some trouble too but one day I tried something on and it fell off. So out it went with all the rest of the stuff!

LOL get this Darla! i still wear all my big clothes!!!!! I'm too poor to get anything that actually fits. i maybe have two pairs of jeans, two pairs of dress pants and 1 polo shirt that actually fits. So I'm hanging onto everything at the moment. so i look very frumpy when i go to work sometimes in my size 4xl polo shirt and my size 70 dress pants LOL when in all actuality I'm in a 1x shirt and size 50 pants

Arron go to freecycle.com and sign up sweetie, then post what size your looking for you'd be surprised on what people give away rather than give it to the good will , i have furnished my whole trailer with it when i lived in it with nice ass furniture. and clothes all kinds of things
