Thanks, Kristen.  Don't even want to imagine how horrible it is for her.

I know she is a woman who believes strongly.  I am just hoping this does not discourage her faith.  But she is really putting up a strong front right now.

OMGOSH That is just so tragic. She will really need you right now and anyone closest to her. Do the Doctors know what went wrong? I say this because my son was not right at birth either and had to be revived many times. It took us a year before we knew he had a severe rare muscle disease. He lost his battle at age six but between birth and age six he had 10-12 heart attacks. Its just something no Mom expects to deal with.
I hope your friend can find out what happened to her son so it can better help her cope and also prepare for future children. I am so sorry. I know you will do all you can for her. ((((Hugs))))) This just touches home. Nobody should have to bury a child. Its the worse pain in the world.

Thank you for your concern.

It just makes me sad everytime I hear of a child passing. My son had a very rare muscle disease and we didnt know it the entire pregnancy. I carry the gene. But sadly his muscle disease is not what took his life. A surgeon did a bronchoscopy and punctured his liver and sent him home w/o telling us what had happened. He had told other Doctors but not us as his parents. Had he not done that to my son my son could have lived well into his 20s despite needing to remain on a ventilator. But I know it is so hard to be a pregnant Mom and so excited and then be shocked come delivery. He was an emergency section too like your friend. It was all so unexpected so I feel so much for your friend right now. I hope she is strong!! (((((Hugs)))))
