OH NO HE DIDN'T!!!
So I have this wedding to go to in a couple weeks and, since I haven't had a need for a suit since surgery, I had none that fit me. I'm proud to say I shrunk out of my old one. Some fortunate man is wearing my old tent right now, since I donated it to good will a while ago. So, Boscov's was having a HUGE sale on suits the other day and we ventured into Delaware to go shopping.
We go into the men's department and the gentleman working there asks "Can I help you with something"? I reply, "yes, I understand you're having a sale on men's suits today". We start looking at different suits and I notice him eyeing me up. "You're a 50 jacket and 40 waist, right"? I reply, "I beg your pardon"? Dude was way off. My waist is a 34 for all my shorts and pants and my shirts are all large. He takes my size and finds out he was way off. I wound up getting a 36 pants only because of how they were made, my thighs were a little snug in 34's, and I wound up in a 46 jacket. I will say, it did feel good. My last suit, if my memory serves me right, was a 58 jacket and 56 waist.
It was a little bothersome, however, as it was the first time since surgery that someone actually made me feel bigger than what I was. As we all know, while losing all this weight, it was a common occurance to hear people say how great you look. I know the man had no idea anything about my history, but it just bothered me. To see him so far off on his guessimations made me feel a little better, though. 40 waist? Are you ****tin' me? Dude needs a new profession.

"No matter how hard life may get, no matter how many curveballs you are thrown, keep in mind, if you want to succeed - QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION"!!!

Okay, I'm done being offended for you!!! Unfortunately, I have the opposite "problem." I actually look smaller than my size says I am. Very strange, but I love it when they think that!!! LOL!!!
