THURSDAY EXERCISE

Okay my friends, only two days left until the weekend.  Let's put in an honest effort to get in two solid days of working out.  For those gym members, lets see if we can put in an extra half hour in today and tomorrow.  You'll thank me for it in the long run.  For those walkers/runners, maybe its time to add a little time/distance to your plan.

It's supposed to be another beautiful day, so lets take advantage of it while mother nature's being so nice to us.  For me that means a 5 mile jog, as I'm almost back to where I was before my hiatus.  What's it mean for you.

Hi Andy!

I ended up doing an hour on the treadmill last night for a total of 2.75 miles! WOOHOO!!!! the farthest I've ever gone!!! I'll be hitting that 5K in no time!

I then did a circuit around the weights. I felt pretty good last night!

Today I am going to mow the lawn and it usually takes me like 1 1/2 hours to do... It's a lot and a great workout!

I will be taking a 2 mile walk to day in the late afternoon.

Enjoy your jog!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

I've got nothing, but didn't want you to think we weren't out hear listening, observing and worshiping (LOL) your posts.  I'll try to do better.

i've been slacking and like you, my back has started to hurt again. today my personal trainer is coming out during lunchtime so she will get me started back on track. starting today i am going to do every day for a week. i can not make the 30 day promise like others have so i'd rather make a promise i might actually be able to keep. on sunday, walking all day and riding rides will count, right? i'll be at six flags.

Andy (and others)
I'm usually good with my exercise but did not make it to the gym yesterday.  I would say I work out 6 days a week which I think is great.  Even if I could work out 7 days a week, my body likes a break.  Went to the gym this morning - its a bummer now that it dark when I wake up at 5:50AM...wonder how it will be when its cold and dark.  But, Thursday is usually my machine day - 30 minutes on CYBEX and 33 minutes on the bike.
Off for a manicure and pedicude now.

I dragged myself to the gym and did 1 mile treadmill, the weight circuit,
and finished off with a water pilates then a water aerobics class.

I felt good afterwards but it was so hard to force myself to go.
