Oddly enough, I sometimes with that I dumped.

I feel a little suceptible to eating sweets and bread products, and I know that if I got sick off of it, I'd swear the stuff off for good.

Right now I am eyeing a box of Girl Scout cookies that I had stashed in the freezer.  They are looking pretty damn good right about now, but I have avoided temptation so far.  Not sure how long that's gonna last.

Can you send me your recipie for the cookies that you were talking about yesterday?  I was telling a co-worker, as she sat there eating Smith Island cake yesterday and they all screamed at me because I didn't ask you for the cookie recipie.

Here you go.  They are freakin' awesome.  Use either all white chocolate, all dark chocolate, or a combination of both.

Raspberry-Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
2 teaspoon raspberry flavoring
2 cups rolled oats
1 ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 ½ cup white chocolate chips
½ cups chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour together with baking powder, soda, and salt; set aside. In another large bowl, cream shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and raspberry flavoring and water. Gradually stir in flour mixture until well blended. Stir in oats, chocolate and white chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Transfer to racks to cool. Makes six dozen. Enjoy!

Oh, I know....I know.

I've had these same eight boxes of Samoas since I bought them back in February.  I've done a good job of avoid their temptation, but today them seem to be screaming for me to have "just one".

Instead, I'm having a little snack-sized container of sugar-free applesauce.  Trust me, it's NOT the same.

What protein bars are you buying?  There are plenty of protein bars with high grams of protein with only 2 grams of sugar.

I am sorry you dumped.   What exactly did you feel?

I had the Pure Protein s'mores flavor protein bar.....it has 2 g of sugar but 12 g of sugar alcohols.

basically the way I felt was that I was really bad sick to my stomach and I broke out in a sweat and this lasted for about 20 minutes. All I wanted to do was lay down. I don't think I wanna feel that way again. I had another one of them today and I got dizzy. At least they are all gone and I don't have to throw them away.

Those sugar alcohols will kick my butt too.
You need to eat only half at a time.  Let me find the ones I buy every so often a bit expensive but worth it.   Sugar alcohols will get me really gassy too!   sorry you felt so sick.
