3+ THINGS FOR THURSDAY!

Hey everyone!  Hope everyone got home safely in yesterday's scattered storms.  I left the office at 5, and didn't get home until 6:45 - I was NOT happy!!!  Couldn't really see the reason for the backup except some flashing lights.  God!!!  Don't people realize that you ONLY need to slow down if the lights are BEHIND you?????? LOL!!!

So today, I'm grateful for:

1.  That I'll get to see a bunch of friends, old and new, on Sunday.  Can't wait to see everyone!!  Cira, I miss you so much!!!!

2.  That things seem to be quieting down at home.  Dad says he feels pretty good, but I don't think it's safe for me to exhale quite yet. 

3.  Cheap movies - Taking KB to the cheap movies on Saturday to see Space Chimps.  I think it lasted at the regular movies for all of a week, which doesn't bode well for a movie, but it means tickets are only $4!!!  Can't beat it with a stick!!!

I am grateful for:

1.  WooHoo today is my Friday!!!

2.  Tomorrow is girls shopping day for me, daughter and granddaughter for school clothes and a first bra...lol she is so disgusted.

3. 10 more days until our vacation in Florida I so need this!!!!

Hey Steph!!  Loving the new avatar!!!!

OMG - bra shopping!!!  When K needed her first, I made a big deal out of it, took her shopping, lunch, a real girl's day out.  She hates it!!  We fight sooooooooooooooooooooooo much over her wearing one!!!  She ends up crying, I end up pissed and it's just ugly all the way around!!!  Conversely, some of her friends can't wait!!!  I don't get it.  I did tell her to be thankful she doesn't have to do underwire yet - although, honestly, I love the brand of bras I get - they're so comfortable, I feel weird NOT wearing one.  Go figure!!!

Oh, I'm so jealous of your vacay!!!  But Florida in August?  Um, yeah, no thanks!!!

Good morning!

I get frustrated in the afternoon going across the Severn River bridge .. I guess everyone has to SLOOOOOOOOOOOW down because they don't know what is on the other side of the bridge !!!   As soon as you get to the crest of the bridge and start back down that little bitty hill . the traffic is FLYING !!!! and there's no back up .. go figure.

1) Another night/morning with Lefty.   He is definitely getting weaker, but we have been able to coax him into eating a little chicken and drinking some.   The ice cubes floating in the water bowl definitely fascinate him.    Will call the vet when I get home to see if I can bring him for another fluid IV.

2) Friends and their support/concern.   Also looking forward to seeing folks on Sunday.

3) While I don't like to rush my life .. Labor Day weekend is only 2 weeks away and we have plans to go out with the RV and my sister and her family will be tenting in the same park so we will have together time with them.

Remind me on Sunday to tell you about the bridge dream I had.  Hint:  It involves Santa, his reindeer and the sleigh!!!  What???  You're SURPRISED???  I don't THINK so!! LOL!!!!

I woke up immediately thinking of Lefty, wondering how he was doing.  I can just see him piddling with the ice!!!  Sweet lil thing - give him a gentle hug from Happy and me!!!

Can't WAIT to see you on Sunday!!!!  So...........what are you doing on Saturday?

Let's see .. Saturday I am doing some errands probably.   I have a HUGE box I need to re-ship to my g/f in Georgia with the tee shirts for the Tybee Island trip in September.   I can't imagine why I had the shirts shipped to me rather than directly to her.  Now I have to pay another $20 to ship them to her,  rather than just sending the graphics/iron ons that she is doing for me.

Depending on how Lefty is doing may also run him to the vet for another IV fluid thing.

AND go check out what is in the RV and make some plans for Labor Day weekend and start thinking about what has to be packed for the October trip.   When I go to GA in September I have to pack all my October trip stuff because we are not bringing Freddy all the way home.  He's going to stay in Charlotte for 2 weeks without us.

Left work at 4:00  arrived home  5:45 .  Lost some huge branches so the storm
in Towson must have been bad.

Okay, so I'll let you hijack - this time!!!!

I LOVE both of those primers - I just hate that the eye primer goes so quickly.  They need to figure out something else.  As far as the face primer, just remember - less is more.  You only need ONE pump for your whole face.
