-I came out of the hospital after surgery without diabetes.  I went in taking 4 shots of insulin a day.
-I quit using my wheelchair and shower chair (although I did go back after surgery #2, it is because I am so tired, weak and devoid of energy, not because I am too fat).
-I can get dressed and take my bra off/put it on all by myself. (Before my arms couldn't reach to hook/unhook it and my husband had to do it).
-My ass can fit in regular waiting room chairs.
-I had a medical test done and they couldn't find the "big girl" gowns, and I fit into the "regular girl" gown!
-I can wear shoes now!!  I have lymphedema and my legs/feet are horribly swollen.  Losing weight has helped even though they are not really related.  I used to have to wear slippers because shoes wouldn't fit.  Finally they did again about 2 weeks ago!
-Losing 128 lbs in 4 months is a pretty big WOW of its own!

I have read that lymphedema is improved a lot when the exces weight is lost since there is much better circulation with less body to deal with.

I am with you on all these things about the shower, the bra, (I fasten mine in the front and then have to work it back around to the back.) & the chairs, those gowns UGH.  That is amazing you were off insulin and had no diabetes in such a short time!  wow.

Being out of the size 20's and finally into the teens.
Climbing the Currituck/Corolla NC light house with my kids. (214 steps...phew..)
Going to the doctor and having to put on one of those stupid paper tops and it closing all the way and actually over lapping a bit...woooo hoooo...
The first time I was able to say "NO" when someone offered me sweets...
Noticing that I actually have a neck and can see my collar bone.

DIABETES NO MORE!

The last shot of insulin in the hospital was it for me.  I was giving myself 5 shots a day. Started everyday with it and ended my day with it. Sticking fingers........etc......
It is all done!  This RNY was well worth that.  My goal was to be healthy and losing weight was a added benefit.  I hit my own goal in two weeks of my RNY!

Wow, diabetes gone seems to be a frequent one.  I'll look forward to that.  Mine is non insulin dependent and I only have the beginning borderline metabolic resistance type.  I'll be rid of that for sure!

~Riding all the rides at Hershey Park without any problems was huge for me.

~Not having any pain when I wake up in the morning and being able to jump out of bed full of energy.

~RUNNING and getting ready for the 5K in October....that'll be a new WOW moment when I cross the finish line.

~The first time I put on single didget sizes..I cried.

~The first time my BF picked me up and carried me. Picked ME up like I weighed nothing and it didn't break his back!!!! LOL

~Wearing a bathing suit at the beach, walking around there and not putting on a cover up.

There are soooooooooooooooooooo many it's crazy but these are the ones that come to mind this morning!

I want to have all these same ones happen for me,  except I am not a rollercoaster person.  Regular life is exciting enough for me!  I panic on those rides.
Single digit sizes....I haven't fit into one since I was 12/13!.
