Well that didnt go how I planned

Well after a few weeks of back and forth phone calls between my surgeons office and myself they were finally able to give me a surgery date of 9/15. I know OMGosh!!!!!!!!

Well I go into my office manager and she tells me she doesnt think that date will work for our office and I have to check what dates will be available for October. So now i have to start all the back and forth phonecalls again to get a date in October so wish me luck...............

april, you mean your office won't let you have a surgery date because the time is not good for them? what if you needed emergency surgery for something? I guess I don't understand why they would say that?

I know Char and everyone keeps telling me my office manager cant really *tell* me when to have surgery but I do really like my job and dont want to go back to a work environment where they are mad at me for not working with them with the date since I work in small office. She said I needed to wait unitll business was slower. So if it is meant to be in Oct then its meant to be I guess.

April Honey I am soooo sorry but remember what I told you and I am sure everyone else on here will agree. This means you are meant to start your new life in October. And it will be here before you know it. Remember keep on them until you get a date. Even thought work is out of your hands you are in control. Call them first thing in the morning and say i need a date for October and would like to have it ASAP and if you dont get it right away CALL EVERY MORNING THIS WEEK

I know Kelly and thanks so much for all you have done for me encouraging me and getting on me...lol these last couple of weeks. I was gonna email you back but I was leaving work. I called Heather and she helped calm me down a little and your right, if my date IS in october then that is just when it is meant to be.

And dont worry girlie I ALREADY called them back and said get me a date for Oct and she told me to call her back in the morning. So see I did learn something from ya lol

You rock girl. Good Job so we should hear from ya tommorow that you have a date????? Then Thursday we can celebrate or run down your surgeons office and make them give you a date then................lol.


Something that Heather tells me all the time and especially lately with my crazy head is all good things come to those who wait. And it is soooo true

And yes by thursday if I dont know something we may have to take a trip....lol I am just getting so anxious. But your right good things do come to those who wait.

Yep, you will have your new life beginning in October! :-) Keep your chin up and you know Sally is awesome and will get you a date ASAP. HMMMM Taking a mini-trip before your WLS sounds like a good idea!!!! LOL OC bound maybe???? LOL

LOL ALWAYS time for a pre-op road trip!!!! Besides.....October is a great Loser month!!! LOL That's when I became one! WOOHOO!!!! Actually ANY month is a good Loser month BUT since it looks like that'll be yours that's what we're going with right now! Like everyone has been telling you, everything happens for a reason.
