thanks all for the support, it did sting a bit but around here, you need to shrug off stuff....when you work in a predominantly male work place, they cut each other down constantly! LOL

Good come back!  I honestly think it was a compliment.  If you stop and think about it, he could have made some truly derrogatory comment but to call you agile was his way of complimenting you.

One time, getting on an elevator with my carpool  I was the last one on, and I tucked my butt and scooted in before the doors closed.  The driver of my car pool said, "gee you almost lost 25 pounds of ugly fat"....Yup!  he said that!  And not missing a heart beat I retorted with "at least mine's all behind me "(this guy happened to look 11 months preg-o) the women in the car pool howled!  AND he left me alone after that and we became pretty good friends.

People can be amazing.  Generally speaking, growing up fat I was always amazed at how hurtful and ugly people could be. Since surgery and dropping about 125#, I am even more amazed at how rude and nosy they are.   For example:
The ones who ask you how much you have lost, and how much you were when you started - hell, why don't they just ask you to get on a scale in front of them?
Then the ones who think they are complimenting and just don't know better - like the little old man in my office that keeps asking to see me in a string bikini (mind you, I am a 12/14 and have lots of skin so that isn't happening any time soon).
I guess what I have started to do is keep my expectations low and then when someone actually acts socially appropriate it is a pleasant surprise!

I've gotten that string bikini comment and it makes me want to barf but I just laugh it off. People don't think before they open their mouths when it comes to weight loss. Char, your comeback was awesome! I agree, they think they are being complimentory but in reality it's not. I like when people see old pics of me and say Oh my I never realized you were THAT big!!!!! LOL
