Pretty exciting.  I think of a 6 and I think "tiny"  I don't think I look tiny, just smaller.

Thanks for all your support.

That is awesome Kim!  I started this journey as a 30/32 also and I was amazed at each size I dropped.  Just before realizing I was pregnant, I bought a dress from Ross, size 18 and almost cried in the store.  Don't know if I'll ever me a 6, but it's people like you who give me even more motivation and encouragement that it can be done!
Weight at Surgery (7/6/07) - 410

I remember the first time I tried on a pair of 14's.  I did cry.  I had been walking around in 18's and was shopping with some friends and tried on a pair of 14 while at Coldwater Creek.  They fit!!  We were cheering in the dressing room.  Just a wow moment with friends!

I am very loyal to Goodwill!  I have a hard time paying walmart prices for clothes!  I have a few size 6 pants that are a bit snug currently---but my 8-10's are mostly roomy and a few 12's are a bit oversized/baggy.  It's still surreal for me too- as i look much larger/fatter in my opinion than the size tag shows.  I do get bloated with gas in the afternoons and evenings especially- so a smaller size fits Ok in the morning but by the later afternoon- the bloat expands my waist and abdomen area- making some fabrics tighter.  My lowest weight after surgery was about 138---that was when I was still very intolerant of lots of foods.  I can eat much more variety now (and quantity?!?) - so I now weigh somewhere between 150-155.  Its weird having to go up a size or so in clothes for only 10 pounds gained or lost.  When I was a size 26-28, I could have much more weight fluctuation without having to get another size clothing.  My abs and hips carry more skin/weight so my lower half is more a size 10-12 and upper half about a 6-8 (smalls fit fine).  I have yet to start exercising regularly since the RNY in 1/06---I am not saying that proudly- but I lost the weight after RNY with no regular formal exercise.  I do need to get areas toned however.  I have to get with that program!!

I love great bargins.  I have found that exercise does help for me though.  If I didn't exercise my arms would fly me to the moon!

Great Wow moment, Kim!  Those banana republic jeans sound hot!  Isn't is great how a good pair of jeans can do for the tush what a good bra can do for the girls?  Way to go on your weight loss!!  This is very inspiring to me, and I needed that tonight, thanks.  I am so looking forward to being able to buy clothing in thrift stores once I go down in sizes.  It will be such a savings.
