PANCREATIC CANCER WALK/RUN

It would be wonderful if your church could form a team for him.

My dad was 73 when he was diagnosed - by the time they found it, the mass was just under 4 cm and was wrapped around the head of the pancreas (where all of the main vessels were).  He also had metastasis in all of the lymph nodes up and down his spine, so the pain was horrendous.   I hope and pray that they are keeping him comfortable and that the pain medicines are working for him!    Hospice folks are nothing short of Angels sent from above, and they will take good care of him, and work to prepare her as best they can.  On eating, my dad lost about 50# in the 9 weeks he survived after his diagnosis - he and I joked about the fact that the only skinny person in the history of our family, and it took him dieing! God love him, he had his humor til the end.
