Prince George's County Mayor Incident!!!

I have read about what happened to the mayor of prince george and feel horrible about what they did to their dogs. is there anything we could do to contact them to tell them we are sorry and support them? i know it's weird but i am an animal lover and just feel so bad about what happened. those poor puppies!

Yeah.  I heard it on the news.  Terrible about his dogs, but when the swat team comes in, everyone and everything in it's way better watch out.  I guess they felt the dogs were a threat.  I'm sure there will be more investigation to make sure that he wasn't really involved in the incident.

those police should be fired, locked up, and never ever allowed to have a gun again! this is criminal!

I agree, it's horrific, and I'm sure you could send a card to the Mayor's office (you should be able to get his office addy from the net).

I know it sounds weird, but I'd almost rather see a person hurt rather than a defenseless animal. 

HOWEVER, having been judged by people who don't know me over the last two weeks, I do feel compelled to say to everyone to let this investigation play out.  I don't think we're hearing the whole story, and the media has a wonderful way of twisting things around.  Our Dept. frequently gets involved in cases as unbiased investigators, so that may be the case here.

People seem to forget that not every dog is simply an "aggressive licker," many have been trained to attack/kill police officers.

i just find it so hard to believe that they didn't know he was the mayor!!  i'm not even convinced they thought the dogs were a threat.  fox news said one dog was shot from behind while running away from them!

My only take on the mayor story..was the SUPER fake crocodile tears his wife was crying!!! Or they looked that way to me...either you're truly sad about your dogs or you're not, but DON"T fake tears!!
