3+ THINGS FOR FRIDAY!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... Don't tell Mack but we are leaving him home.   The trip is long enough without going at Mack's warp speed of 47 mph!!!!  Plus there would be some VERY unhappy people behind us on the 2 lane parts of Rt 2 .. it would be like following a farm tractor on 404 and not being able to PASS.

I'll post more about the Fire Museum day when it gets closer.

Hugs & smoochies, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I'm with everyone on the first one:

1.  It's Friday (been a hectic couple of weeks)

2.  The scale is not moving again, but I can tell a difference in my clothes.

3.  The grandchildren are with their Mother for a couple of days and I need a rest.

They do.  I'm so looking forward to maybe a pedi tonight after work.  My husband dropped them off yesterday morning and she'll probably call tomorrow morning to come pick them up.  How can you say no to a face like his.

yeah I had a day off yesterday it was good. As you may know I play a game called Second Life and I've really built up a good one there. Let's just say that I have a goal for my real life to look like my character in second life LOL I own a night club so I spent yesterday fixing it up to get it ready to open. It was a lot of time consuming work but it looks great and I can't wait for it to open! One of these days I want second life to pay me a salary LOL

LOL yeah....but remember that's from the time I had my first orientation with Dr. K....I was 500 then. I've actually lost 90 pounds since my surgery in May I'm 360 now. Have about 150 to go to hit MY goal. I'm sure the doc wants to see me lose a total of 300 pounds after this is all over.

Aaron, do you really own a night club?  Where and what is is called?  I hope when it opens we can get a bunch of OHers to go to the opening.

I need to know more about this Second Life.  Maybe I'm dense after being on vacation all week...is your second life character your OH persona?

Edited to add....DUH, I think I now realize that 'a game called second life' is a computer interactive game.  LOL  Do you own a night club in second life or in real life?
