3+ THINGS FOR FRIDAY!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. That my reflux isn't quite as bad as it has been. Thank goodness!!!
2. That it's Friday. It's been a sucky couple of weeks and I'm glad to see the weeks end!!
3. That tomorrow, I'll get to spend time with friends - old (some older than me - lol!), and new!!
Hope you all have a great weekend!!
Hugs,
Tia
I was diagnosed with Rosacia (sp) and I was given the metrogel for my face it works great. You can only get it by prescription from the dermatologist. Also i only use cetaphil to clean my face and bare minerals for make up.
Big hugs
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

1) It's FRIDAY and even though I still have things that need to be accomplished this week, they can wait til next week if need be.
2) went out for AUCE crabs last night (complete with shrimp, chicken, corn, slaw, tater salad, etc) and didn't make myself sick eating!!! Had an ear of corn because Eastern shore corn is the absolute BEST, and a couple of shrimp and I think MIGHT have gotten to 7 crabs (they were small). There's reason for me to be grateful for WLS, now my ability to pick crabs and my capacity for crabs are about matched .. I use to get frustrated because I couldn't keep up with my appetite, now I am full before I am done pickin'.
3) meeting new people. Tomorrow we are headed to Southern MD for a picnic. Going to meet new 'fire truck' people. There will probably be a few we recognize/know but then new faces also. I don't feel 'challenged' by that any more either. There are many who would not believe I have a shy bone in my body, but trust me .. I have my moments.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy tomorrow with the makeover(s) and shopping. I'll be with you in spirit.
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hi Moie!!!!
OOOOOOHHHHH, AUCE crabs!!! Yummy!!! I agree, I HAVE to have an ear of corn when I have the crabs - the rest I can do without!!
Hmmm..................Southern Maryland? Well, have fun with THAT!!! But really, have a great time showing off Mack and meeting like-minded people!!! Sounds like some of us may meet you guys at the Fire Museum when you're there, too!!
Yes, you will be there in spirit and I'll take some pics so you can see!! We'll miss ya!
