Update on Ledee

You all know that Ledee (Ledeek) had her surgery yesterday and came through well. She was put in ICU yesterday after not being able to breathe on her own. I spoke with her husband Walter this morning and she is still on the ventilator. She is responsive and writing notes. She's been going through a battery of tests and he says they have one more to perform. He is hoping that she will be taken off today at some point. They are both in good spirits (worried, of course) but I assured them that all of us here at OH are pulling for them and ready to welcome Ledee back to the community as soon as she is able!!!

The kids are fine and with their great - grandmother.

Let's say a big cheer for Ledee: "Go Ledee, Go Ledee . . . "

what up teri, I did not know you were on here. I had Lap band a year ago and I love it. I am under 200 lbs now and feel amazing. Have you been on your bike lately.

Hey Karen! Congrats on the weight loss!!! I'm sure you look great! As for the bike, not lately, but I will be sure to ask the doctor at my 1 month check up next week if its ok to get back on the bike. Fingers Crossed...lol I sent ya a PM. Keep In Touch!

don't feel bad, I have not been on mine for 2 years. I was banded last July and just have not had the time. But I am working on our bike fest and so I may bring it out then. I love my band, and I can't believe I did not think about this sooner.. Hope all is well with you.

Hey Teri:
Don't worry about the hijack. Ledee's husband called and said that they took out the breathing tube and all is going well. He is expecting her to go home today or maybe tomorrow morning.
