Surgeon is submitting to insurance company tomorrow

Well time to pray and cross my fingers that I get approved for my VSG. For right now i am not going to get my hopes up even though the surgeons office said that I had more than enough and then in the second breath it's "hopefully they will approve you". She also told me that one wrong word and they can say no. So send me some prayers for approval and I hope that it doesn't take as long as the secretary said which was it could take 30-45 days to get an answer. Anyway now I am on pins and needles. I just have this feeling they will find something to turn me down for. I don't know what maryland insurance laws are but I have federal MD-IPA.

I think this is the hardest part...the waiting and hoping.  It really can take over a month but when you get that approval you are going to feel so darn good.  If by any small chance you get a denial the first time around, appeal it and keep appealing it until you use up all the levels of appeal.  Each time it's appealed a different person will review the case.  Good luck!

They might say no to the vsg because its a newer surgery, but the rouen y not so much, but good luck and keep up the appeals if they say no this time around good luck
