3+ THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY!!

1. My friends, on and off line, and my family. My dad, who is one of my best friends, will be 70 tomorrow. I'm grateful that he takes care of himself and wants to be around for a lot longer!

2. Vacation is only 1 month and 1 day away. I NEED this getaway more than I can say, and I know I will have an amazing time with a great friend. We will meet lots of great new friends too!

3. A selfish one, but I am 2/10 of a percentage away from being overweight and no longer obese. That is a huge (no pun intended) milestone for me!

4. I might have some news on the job front this week. Won't be what I hoped for, but should be a solution and an emotionally healing one at that! Stay tuned.
Hugs!

Hey Kathy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DAD!!!    That's quite an accomplishment!!  And extra kudos to him for taking care of himself!!!!

I know you and Darla are gonna have a blast.  Sigh....maybe next year!!!!!

Yes, by all means, keep us updated on the job.

And lastly, no, it's NOT selfish - this is a wls board, remember - that's great on the 2/10%!!!

Darla!!!! Why did you let me reschedule my MAC appointment for NOON on Saturday!?! You know I can't be trusted to manage appointment making on my own!!!LOL (it's always so much easier to blame someone else for messing up than blame yourself - isn't it? LOL..) Since I dare not reschedule again, it looks like I may have to miss the fun in White Marsh on Saturday (BOO ME). I'll try to catch up with you guys if I can...In the meantime, I'll see you tonight @the MAC? It's day 10 of Mission 30/30 for me... -Antoinette

Day 7 for me :  and I'm sorry about the Double Booking :  when you told me I totally forgot about makeover day.  I have to do some rearranging myself -- forgot my twice monthly manicure.

Hi There Kathy!
I like your new avatar.  I do hope that your next one is of your face with those pretty eyes of yours!
I am so excited for you and Darla to be going on the cruise.  I really hope to go next year.  I have never been on a cruise and it's something I must do in my life at some point.  That and a cruise to Alaska.  You are NOT selfish to be pleased with your WLS success!  That is why we are all here.  I am so happy for you to soon no longer be considered Obese!  That IS huge, LOL.
Good luck with the job interviews!! Hugs to you!  ((((Kathy))))

Morning.

Just got off work and figured I would peek at the boards before bed.

I am grateful for the following.

1.  I am grateful to have a husband who will clean up cat puke.  Damn that cat!

2.  That I don't have a single HAVE TO DO thing today.

3.  I don't work for 2 more days.  Man I hate 3 nights in a row.

Today I'm grateful for the simpler things

1)  My children had a great football and cheer practice last night.  It was great to see them engaged and active and smiling.  And as usual we had snowballs afterward, but the Fireman's carnival was in town, right next to the practice field, so of course...made a great summer night, mid-week yet!

2)  That the scale didn't budge, even though I've totally blown off doing that pouch test !

3)  For my Dad, I'm 43 and he's still rescuing me.

Tia, I hope is going well with your Dad...
Suz

Baby, that was yesterday...
