Morning Kim!!!

I saw the perfect family-related sign in OC:  "Choose your dog (or cat) carefully.  It's the only chance you have to pick a relative!"  SO VERY TRUE!!!

Glad the scale's smiling on you!!!

Well I have to stretch to find things today. I am going through a skin allergy patch test this week. My back is taped up with 80 swatches of stuff. Besides not wanting this tape on me any longer, my activities are restricted while this is going on - sigh! I WILL be grateful when this is over and I get the answers I seek! That will not happen until Friday. So until then...

1 - I am working from home today. At least I can be comfortable being uncomfortable - LOL!

2 - That it is a quiet work day and I am getting things done without a lot of interuptions.

3 - Chocolate Mint Protein Shakes - I am really addiicted to these right now. I take a cup of Hood Carb Countdown Chocolate milk; I add a small amount of mint extract.;A scoop of chocolate mint protein powder; a little Equal; a shot of SF Hersheys Syrup; a ton of ice. When this is all blended up, it is so thick (the amount of ice makes the diff), that I have to eat it with a spoon. It takes me a full hour to get through it. I serve it in a thermal mug so it does not melt too fast. Yum.

Have a good day!

Deb,

Sorry that you're having to go through the allergy testing. But, hopefully it will turn up answers and all be worth the efforts.

What type of choco mint protein powder do you use? I LOVE anything mint, so I'd love to try it. Your shake sounds yummy!!
Hugs!

Kathy,

I found the chocolate mint protein powder at the Vitamin Shoppe. It comes in a 2lb canister by Dymatize nutrition, called Chocolate Mint Elite. 1 Scoop is 112 calories, 1 g sugar, 23 g protein. When I first tried it, I did not think it was minty enough for me. That is why I add the mint extract. Mint extract is strong though. A little goes a long way. I bet you could get the same if not similar result using any chocolate protein powder with the mint extract. Enjoy!
