Hey Suz!!!

Your brother is serving in Afghanistan?  He's da man!!!  Here's hoping he comes home soon and safely.  Please keep us posted.  Perhaps an OH contingent at the a/p with you would be welcome?

Morning everyone!
Today, I'm grateful for:

1) Waking up and feeling wonderful.  For as many tough pregnancy stories I've heard, I'm blessed to feel so great.  If not for the sonogram pics and the heartbeat I heard last week, I wouldn't believe it.

2) My micro managing boss has chosen to work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. HALLELUJAH!!

3) My buddies on all the OH boards, especially the Maryland board.  Most times I lurk, but I'm usually reading and applauding your victories and achievements.

Have great day everyone!

Good morning everyone!

Today, the things I am grateful for are:

1.  The most beautiful sunrise I saw on my way to work this morning. Too bad I didn't have that special person to share it with.  (Maybe he saw it too!)

2.  Support group tomorrow night... I too need to hear these words.  There's a lot going on in my head these days and I am having a tough time processing evrything.

3.  Six weeks until I go to Canada!  I am excited ...and yes, very scared.  Things will work out if they are supposed to.

Next.....

Hugs to all,

Deb

Tia,
Look at you  I  love that you are always so ready to give of yourself and offer support.  I have to clarify that my brother is not serving in Afghanistan, he works for a government agency and has been sent there a couple times over the past two years to work on a project.  He's been there about a month so far, and was due to stay until the holidays, but may be coming home next week.  We both have the highest level of respect for the men and women who serve, and as he works off compound much of the time he is there, his safety is just one of the things for which I thank them.  I thought is was important that I not misrepresent his role.  But thank you for the thought... you are a sweetheart.

Baby, that was yesterday...

Suz -

I think people discount the role of the civilians in our wars.  Like my department, the civilian contingent is an integral part of any program's success.

Please don't feel like you're misrepresenting his role - it's an important one!!!

Let us know when he arrives safely!

Hugs,

Tia

I am grateful for the following...

1.  My mother did some emergency babysitting for me last night and stayed at my home until after midnight.  This was after a full days work for her and having to work again this morning.  As crazy as they (my parents) make me they still pitch in when needed.

2.  For my kitty, Chloe.  She is the only other female in the house so we have our girl bond.  I am getting ready to sleep for today and she knows it's bedtime and is cuddled up next to my leg as I type.

3.  For being friends with the scale.  For so long it has been my enemy.  I am so glad we have come to a happy medium.
Kim
