Iwas lurking and saw a couple people going on the cruise to lose. Is this the one on Sept. 7th with Terry from Ruby Cruises ?. I will be on that ship too. We are flying out of BWI at 8:45 am on the 7th. See you lighter. Joanne

Hi Joanne:

Kathy T and I are going on the cruise.  I don't know  what time our flight is but we are
also flying out of BWI on the morning of the 7th:  If we don't see you at the airport
I'm sure we will find you on the cruise.

Darla, Let me know what time your flight is when you find out. I sure we will either pass at the airport or on board. My email is [email protected]. See you lighter. Joanne

We leave BWI at 8:25 the morning of the 7th. I haven't been at that airport in over 15 years, so I have no idea if we'll see each other then or not, lol. But, we will be sure to see you on board!
Hugs!

Is this your first cruise ? I am so excited.  Have no ideal what to expect but our neighbors are going with us and they have been on many. Can't wait to meet all. See you lighter. Joanne

Sorry it took me so long to reply. No, this isn't my first cruise. In 2001, I cruised Carnival to the Bahamas for 4 days, and in 2005 I cruised Norweigen to the Eastern Caribbean for 12 days. I liked the food on Carnival better. The activities on Norweigen were awesome. The service and accomodations on both cruises were outstanding. I think 12 days was too long. I think 7 will be just perfect. I expect to keep busy on board, just like I did on Norweigen. I participated in many games, contests, etc. I still have a ton of free NCL stuff that I won on board at every game imaginable, lol. My only little (and I mean little, lol) worry is not having a lot of clothes. I am changing sizes pretty fast, and I just don't have the money nor the inclination to buy clothes I won't wear for long. So, I'll have a small, but comfortable selection that I will cheerfully make due with.  I am definitely looking forward to the trip, and I'm very excited that we'll be meeting other Maryland WLSers on board.

Hugs!

One coming from Delaware too. Me !!!! I have no fear of not keeping busy. You will be ok with what ever cloths you have. I think we will all be in the same boat there. See you lighter. Joanne

Dumb question:  are these Cruise to Lose trips just for weight loss patients, or do a lot of spouses go, too?  I'm guessing that there are lots of activities for WLS folks, but is there stuff to do for non-WLS people?

I could probably convince my husband to go without too much arm twisting.
