I'm back, but going away for a bit...again

Hey to everyone who was asking for/about me.....Sorry I dropped off the face...busy , busy summer. Anyhoo.. My Lap Band surgery is Tues Aug 5th at 9:15am...I am going to Baltimore tomorrow to attend the pre-op class, then to my parents house and up early Tuesday a.m . to head for the hospital. I am really ready...I just want the 2nd half of my life to start!
Hi to Deb, Heather, Gina, and Tia and everyone who may remember me!! :)
I will be off again now for a few days, but I certainly will keep you posted....
Keep me in your prayers and I will remember all of your kind words as I am getting sleepier and sleepier in that operating room!!!!
I hope everyone is doing great and I will talk with ya soon!!

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Just saw your post. I am so happy that the date has been set. I just left you a message at your house but you probably won't get it until after the surgery.
