Hi Eveyone,  (From one NJ Fat Cat to Another LOL)
This article below my daugher sent me yesterday.  This cat was found in Blackwood NJ where I grew up! How ironc! Now I know it wasn't what I ate but it was geographical climate LOL - as if  She is a cute one, but it is ashame she probably is suffering with her weight don't know how she got this big.  I had a cat for 15 years that was I found stray in 1991 in Blackwood New Jersey- he was 30 pounds and looked like this one, my daughter thinks they this cat may be in the same relative line.  I was having trouble attaching the link so you may have to search it, it is an interesting story.  Her name is Princess Chunk and she is not the fattest cat in history however, close the guiness book of world records cat was 46 pounds and lived in Australia.

One of my bff's grew up around Blackwood too and when I saw that story on yahoo this morning I immediately thought of her.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

My friend's name is Carol Fulgham.   When we got to be friends she was living in Blackwood (she was property manager at Washington Way apts).  Within the last year she has moved about 30 to 45 minutes north to manage another property.   I am trying to remember how old she is .. a couple years younger than me so I think she may have just turned 56 ?  or there abouts.

They had that cat on Live with regis and Kelly yesterday morning. She was so cute but yes that has to be a struggle for the cat with that much weight. She weighs more then my Yorkie and Dacshund combined...................LOL

My goodness!  Usually stray animals are on the skinny side.  Imagine, being stray, she may have LOST weight to get down to 44 lbs.

I always joke that I am going to get my dogs gastric bypass.  They are both 105 pound Golden Retrievers.  One is fat, the other is just slightly overweight.  But the fat one hates going outside.  Hates walks.  Doesn't like to play.  They are both huge piggies, though.
