Wow - that 's great!

Does it take that long to get in to see her?  I had my first consultation with Dr. Singh yesterday, and didn't make an appt. right away - went to see my primary care to see how much diet time he could document for me (we came found 3 consecutive months - wasn't sure if I had 3 months in a row or not, but, I did!!!)  Anyway - I was hoping to do my next 3 months with Ms. Swantko - and don't want to wait until Oct to see her!  YIKES .  Not a big deal, my primary care will keep working with me, but, I was hoping she would help met get on something that works.

i have to admit that i was surprised at the crofton support group meeting to learn that most of the other doctors don't have NUTs on their staff.  i have seen my NUT everytime i see dvr and she's at all of our support group meetings and i don't pay additional for her.  she was part of my program fee.

i also read something interesting the other day and i wish i had posted it.  i was reading about the physiological process of how WLS works, including its window of opportunity before the body makes adjustments and starts functioning (from a weight loss perspective) the way it did pre-surgery.  the article started that in many cases, those that are 2+ years out will hit a plateau that is broken by INCREASING their caloric intake.  sounded assbackward, of course, but it did explain why this is the case.  so, maybe just maybe some of you that have (rightfully) lamented about being in this situation should ask your NUT to evaluate whether you need to be eating MORE to be able to continue to lose.
