Well as most of you know , Ive been battleing the surgerons for the wls , and after much problems with my comorbidities , Dr Vanguri said he sees no reason why i should not be able to have it, whooooooooooooohooooooooooooo , but now at this time i am in process of being put on the rotisorrie , cant spell for

@ lol, yes scoping me @ both ends going for pre op on monday and exploritory surg. on friday of next week . wish me luck . I have called the program for the 12 week course and then its on to approval, he does not think i should have a problem being approved geesh anyone know how long after approval it will take for the actuall wls?

THAT IS SO AWESOME!!!!! I'm so happy for you right now!!!!

As for approval, they say it can take up to 30 business days. I have Aetna PPO and it took about 15 business days to come back with an approval.

ya i know its gonna be like 5 mths or 4 mths from now but i have waited this long i can wait till then , hope its before insurance renews so i dont have to go through all that stuff again lol

oh I hear you on that one! I almost had it done in 2001 until my insurance renewed and was switched! I was so devastated and I gave up until last year. It took me from January of 2007 until May of 2008 to get mine done. All I can say hon is to hang in there and the rewards will be AWESOME!

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

After my approval I had gotten a date for exactly 1 month later to have surgery.
