Just got an email from her: They called 911 at 2:00 am - it looks like congestive
heart failure with a possible blood clot thrown in the mix.

Please send Prayers; or if you don't pray send some good thoughts her way.

Tia : you know I'm a phone call away if you need anything.

Take care of business : we are all here for you.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Thanks, DP & everyone. I'm at my brother's house, he has to be in to work early and Dad usually takes care of KB, so here I sit until I get them off to daycare, then I've got to get home, check on Happy and head back over to Franklin Square.

Dad has never been one to take good care of himself. I pray that it's not too late and that he's not too stubborn to start now.

I hope that you get some good news soon on your father. It's so awful when our parents get sick.
