HAPPY 3RD SURGIVERSARY TERRY M.!!!!
Hey everyone!!
Please join me in wishing my very first OH friend, Terry M., a happy 3rd surgiversary today!!!
We have lots of new people on the boards, so for those of you who don't know her, Terry's avatar is her DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS engagement ring!!!
Terry and I met when we were both post-op, and were immediately struck at how alike we are. In fact, it's downright scary!!! She's been an amazing friend to me, and while we don't see each other or talk nearly as much as we used to, it's all good - I know she's there for me and vice versa.
The reason she's been SUCH a bad friend is that she's been busy losing over 100 pounds, having a total body lift in separate operations, finding the man of her dreams and getting engaged, becoming an aunt, planning a Halloween wedding, helping McMom survive and beat breast cancer, selling her house and Mark's house and buying a new home togethere. Phew!! I'm exhausted and need a nap after all that!!
There is truly nothing this woman can't do!! And she's proof-positive that things happen when they're supposed to - I know she wasn't really looking for Mark when they found each other, but they are truly made for each other. She deserves NOTHING but the best!!!
I'm so lucky to have her as my friend. Hopefully, once her life settles down, she can visit with us more, but in the meantime, girlfriend, enjoy your life and Happy Surgiversary!!!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
