Beach - hands down, all year long!!!!!  Crazy but fun in the summer - relaxing and peaceful in the off-season.

However, since I'm looking into an OH get-away in the mountains, I'll take that, too!!!   LOL!!!

YES !!!

I would take beach, but the awesome mountain views have their place too.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Thats a tough one for me too....I grew up in Upstate NY in the country/mountains then moved to the Outer Banks in 1999.  I love both.  Wouldn't mind moving in between the two.  As long as its warm, I guess it really doesn't matter...lol

That is truly a tough one. I absolutely love the water. At the same time the mountains hold a special place in my heart. I am a coal miners granddaughter from Eastern Applacian Kentucky. I have many fond memories of summers there as a child. I have also visited as an adult and truly appreciate the calm and beauty. I have actually sat on the side of a mountain in the Fall and listened to the leaves fall. I have also gone to the top of a mountain and took in the beauty of the mountain ranges into several states as I rotated 360 degrees.

Many years ago I visited Bar Harbor, Maine and Acadia National Park. There are some mountains there that meet the sea, a combination of both of them. That was truly a special sight.

Sounds familiar but I was more in the upper Hudson Valley area.  Apple country...nothing like horse back riding in an apple orchard and being able to pick the nice big ones off the tops of the trees...lol....

Beach all the way.  My husband and I discuss this often.  When we retire (in about 100 years) I want to retire near the water (ocean).  My husband is leaning toward the mountains but, I'm telling you, he's gonna be moving there by his lonesome.  I have no desire to live there ever.

To me there is nothing more relaxing than the sound of the ocean.  Eventhough I am not a tanoholic, I do like the feel of the sun on my shoulders, the ocean breeze and just the feeling of TOTAL relaxation.  Plus people watching is a total bonus!!

See Ya at the beach!!

Definately BEACH. I grew up goingto the beach just about every weekend. I grew up in Texas and most of the time it was warm in Galveston. If it wasn't we were still there fishing. I love the beach just the sounds of the beach are awesome. Mts for a winter weekend would be ok.
