Good Morning Everyone.

So it has been a week since Heather and I started the 5 Day Pouch Test and I weighed myself this morning and the scale went DOWN 3.4 pounds. I know Heather said hers went down 5 pounds

So my conclusion. if the scale isnt moving or you have let old things slip back in TRY the 5DPT it really does take you back to basics and gives you the tightness feeling you had right after surgery

www.5daypouchtest.com is the website if you need any info

Kimberly

Today will be the hardest but you can have cremed or clear soups. Keep us posted and good luck. After today it is easy and get some recipes from the website the will help. The egg bake brunch was so good and you can load it with protein like bacon and sausage along with ham it tells you to put in it

Good luck

Kimberly,
Good luck to you and the other 2004 Graduates who are doing it with you! Kelly is right, the first day and second are hard but days 3-5 weren't bad at all. I'm so glad that she and I decided to do this. It is a great reminder of the pouch and gives me that 'edge' that we sometimes need. If I feel myself slipping then I know I have the 5DPT to fall back on! Keep us posted!!!!!!

Thank you for the responses...they get me more motivated. I did go to the store Sat. and got all kinds of extracts to add to my protein mix, so I should have some pretty awesome shakes the next two days. I was curious it says cream soups are ok? Do they mean like cream of mushroom and such? If Yes then ALLRIGHT this will be easy I can live off that stuff   I think I should be ok till about 1pm then thats when it will get abit hard...my eating time, guess Ill just leave the house for abit...Im determined, Ill survive
