PLanet Fitness

is opening in my neighborhood.. Anyone here a member?  Any pros and cons that I should consider?

I love my planet fitness, you should try to jump in there when they first open.  I think for the first month memebership is only $10 a month.  I only pay $15 a month and can workout 24 hours and unlimted tanning.  GO FOR IT!  I love it.  It is the judgement FREE zone!

Right now there is a 12 month contract..it use to be no contract...I pay $20 for 24/7 workouts and free tanning..plus I can bring a guest with me anytime that I want to work out...There is also free personal training sessions...I like going there because there are a variety of people going, not just the size 2 Barbies and 6 packed Kens...though nothing beats walking on the treadmill watching a tight assed sweaty Ken in front of you.....LMAO..oh...or would that be Dan.... ;)

I had heard that there were no trained instructors at PF....it was more of a hang-out for teenage girls who took advantage of the tanning included in the membership.   Good to read that there are trained professionals and not just greeters and salespersons.

What's this LUG ALERT bell/siren that I am hearing about that is activiated when someone grunts or drops the barbells?

Yeah. watching Ken/Dan/Joe(?)'s lol sweaty ass is better than watching boring ole TV anyday!!!

I have never seen anyone "just hanging out"...but then I do go at 10:30p...I havent head about the Lug alert....maybe thats just during peak hours...not sure what that is..
