No roadtrip or shovel....no pool boy either! LOL Tonight is movie night and Sunday is the beach.....it's all good THEN Atlanta next weekend! It's gonna be grand! Promise! Death bed? Oh boy! She did say she wasn't feeling good....poor thing! OK I'm outta here at 5 today so holler anytime after that!

There are so many places that I want to go, but if I had to choose one it would be

TAHITI.  I want one of those huts that sits right over the water.  Exotic, warm and sensual!!!!

I always tell my husband I would like to go somewhere where the sand is white, the water is blue and men bring you little drinks with umbrella's in them.  Also, it would be very quiet...just the sound of the surf, the sun on my shoulders and maybe an occasional bird call.  But none of the call I hear everyday "Mommmmmmmm."

I recently came back from a dream vacation (back in March '08), and I'd love to do it all over again.

We started off with a 13-day cruise from Miami to Barcelona, Spain, with a few stops in Portugal, Gibralter, and a few different ports in Spain.  After we got to Barcelona, we boarded a plan for four days in Dublin, Ireland.

All told, we were gone 21 days.  A great length of time for a vacation, but way too long to be away from my toddler son.  I missed him terribly.

If I had the luxury of lots of travel, I'd love to do a trip to Alaska.  My sister just returned last week from a 3-week trip to Alaska, and it sounds wonderful.

Instead of a "BIG" trip this summer, we'll just be spending a week in the Outer Banks, unless we win the lottery next week.

So many places I want to see. First I would like to go to Hawaii. I have heard wonderful things about it. I told my husband that I want to go for our 5 year anniversary (I said that on our honeymoon while sitting in our room at the Poconos in a snow storm) But unfortunatly that wont happen cause our 5 year anniversary is February and there is no way we could afford it then, especially since were trying to have kids now. So maybe after all that we will go

Heck I'll be happy to make it to Florida next summer since we couldnt this summer :)

Anywhere with a nice clean beach is good for me.  The doctor I work for is from St. Martin and she says it so beautiful that I have to go sometime in my life. When we were stationed in Germany we saw many different European countries and I must say that the Netherlands was by far the best. EVERYONE we came across was so nice. Unfornately I don't like swimming in bays but the beach was pretty nice. I prefer swimming in a real ocean so like I said anywhere with a nice beach would work for me and some time to enjoy it.

What about you?  Where would you like to go?

This is another thing I will be able to do once I an more mobile and lose the weight.  I would love to travel to so many places I cannot choose one.  Many ahve to do with my heritage.

I would love to go to:

Greece -and I have a good friend there who I met while we were in Graduate school. Those beaches are amazing. 

A tour of Europe to see where my ancestors lived:
Florence Italy -where my Gram H. grew up.
Ireland where my Nana T's family originated, and Northern Ireland which used to be Scotland where my Grandpa T's family originated, as well as England.
Last but not least, Germany where my Grandpa H grew up. 

Of course I want to go on a cruise to Alaska one day as well.  I have seen photos and OMG it is so breathtaking.
