dr. averbach-just an observation
Char.. Maybe he was mentally doing the operation. Trying to visualize what was there... LOL!!!! he does have nice eyes... but if you want to see nice eyes, check out Dr. Singh's eyes if he's in the office the next time.....can you say "WOOF!!!!". And Neil, behave yourself when you go to his office...Mary might faint if she knew you were "thinking" about her. LOL!!! Deb
He does warm up after a bit at first I felt a bit intimidated and felt he was so formal but now I know what it is ( well, I think I kow) he is an amazing Dr, he takes his work very seriously and he wants to know that we do too and when he sees we do too he lets down and is more laid back. He has to be serious to make us be serious and he wants to help others and takes this surgery very seriously and many people don't. I had a stapleing in 1982 that I almost died from and never lost weight. I was high risk and had allready failed once.My chances weren't great but as I do what he tells me to do and take it seriously he has opened up more. I would be dead without him. He took me on when Hopkins and In od Md. would not. He saved my life and I am glad he takes it seriously allthough I was intimidated at first. I wish there was a way to repay him but all I can do is keep the weight off, stay as healthy as I can and try to help others so that is what I do. I have a life something I never had and I am loving it.. But it took a lot coming together to get it. He was the first step-well after the $$$$ but then the eating and exercise came and for me if I didn't have the pool I wouldn't have made it and it and then I neede to add my personal trainer and I can't believe he took me on and that has done so much for me helping me jumpstart more weight loss but also helping me to get stronger I can do things I never could like hammering nails in my fence, holding my grandchildren and on and on.Oops sorry rambleing I just thing Dr Averbach is amazing and everything working together I am down 252 lbs and losing

LMAO at all of you guys !!! He does take some getting use to initially but trust me you are in excellent hands. I have seen him dressed in his weekend attire and he wasn't hard on the eyes, you see I had my surgery on the Friday before memorial day weekend. I am seeing him on Wednesday for my two month post op and I will check out his staring behaviors
and let you know!!!!
