Was that a date you requested?? If you are available sooner, let them know you are so that if they get a cancellation they can slot you in for it.

Thanks Kathy!  Yay!!! Happy Dance!!!   I feel like I wish I could catch up to you!  My friend Jeff had his surgery the same weekend you did, and you both have passed the 100 lb mark.  I am happy for you both but I really want to get moving. 
NO, I did not request that date.  It was the soonest slot they had open for DS with Dr. Schweitzer.  He's in high demand! 

Yes, great minds think alike, because I did have them put my name on the stand-by list in case there is any cancellation.  But, if I have to wait 10 weeks, that is going to be fine.  It will be well worth it! 

CONGRATS Jennifer. Hopefully I will be right after you.  I didn't realize Dr. S was booked that far out. Wow he really must be sought after. Let me know if you need anything.

OMG Candie I know, I was surprised he was book two months out.  Thanks, I appreciate the offer.  How are you doing? 


Edited to add:  Candie, you may not have to wait as long as I do, since I am getting DS and those are only scheduled once each week Thursdays.  RNYs may be scheduled more often since the surgery takes less time.
