Day 2 of the 5DPT!
OK I haven't checked in with Kelly yet but Day 2 of the pouch test isn't that bad. I am a little 'hungry' but that is most likely due to a little less fluid than I had yesterday. Yesterday was a mental hunger day. I have to admit I am sooooooooooo looking forward to actually putting food into my mouth tomorrow morning! LOL Crazy just how used to things we get then once we take it away just how badly we miss it. I am glad that she and I decided to do this together. It makes it easier and yes, more accountable too. I have gotten in 42g protein, 6g sugar, 12g carbs, 9g fat and that's it so far today.
BTW sorry about that commercial link! Going to see if Kelly can do it from her computer since I am totally computer stupid today! That is obvious!!! LOL

Dumb question for you:
Is doing the 5DPT sort of a "maintenace" thing, where you do it every six months or so just to keep things in check, or is it a "you do it because you feel a need to do it" kind of thing?
I know it's a ridiculous question, but, hey, I can live with that.

Not a dumb question at all! The 5DPT basically gets you back to basics....shows you that your tool is still working and gets you away from the foods that you may have come to eat again. "Sliders" are a big problem for me and something that could eventually cause me to gain weight without even realizing it. Sliders are foods like pretzels and yogurt that go down and through easy. There is a site which tells you all about the 5DPT and I know that Kelly has it. Hopefully when she reads this she can post the link.

The 5DPT is to show you your pouch still works. I am 2 years out and so is Heather (almost 2 years) We both felt like we let slider foods in WAY to much. I would snack on crackers all day long and not really eat anything till dinner and was not getting my protein in that I should of. There ok once in a while but not all the time

When I added soup to my life.....................it was all good. Today I am fine (because of my soup) I havnt had a protein drink yet but will in a bit then one after dinner whatever dinner is which most likely will be more soup........LOL
