TUESDAY EXERCISE

It's amazing how much you can get accomplished when you wake up at 4:45.  I fell asleep watching a movie last night around 9:30.  That's over 7 hours sleep, which, for me anyway, is too much sleep.  So, I woke up, made a pot of coffee, straightened a few things out, went for around a 6 mile jog before it got too hot, came home took a shower and ate breakfast.  Phew, it feels like it should be a lot later than 9:30 am right now.

Anyway, thank God, it's SUPPOSED to be the last day of the heatwave.  Then again, every time I check out the weather forecast, it seems to change.  According to most of them though, it's supposed to "dip" into the mid 80's the next few days.  If you haven't gotten out yet, wait until tonight when it cools down.  Or, if you can get to a gym, better yet.

Today is day 2 of the "Can't skip a day" week.  The first two are the hardest when you make this kind of committment, so lets get through today and the rest will be smooth sailing.  I'll continue to try to inspire you to make it through each day.  You'll be glad you did it when the week is over.  Stay hydrated, stay strong and stay focused.

I am looking forward to the gym tonight. The pool classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays are my favorites. I hope any thunderstorms either pass through early or after the classes. They always make us get out of the water during thinder/lightening storms.

Went to the gym this morning - biked HARD for 50 minutes - 11 miles but it was a hilly profile.  I am definitely dehydrated though - felt like crap this morning and still feel crappy despite at least 4 large glasses of water!
Can't wait for this "heat wave' to let up.

I've missed a few days of these posts, but to catch up...
In New Orleans I walked EVERYWHERE! LOVED it!!! I didn't do my toning stuff there, though. :(

But since I've been back, yesterday I mowed and did the yard work yesterday. Today I did my 20 minutes of toning at 5 am and am getting ready to go walk with "hot neighbor man".
