OMG!!!
Okay so I have been on http://www.thedailyplate.com/
and trying to keep track of what I have been eating and the calories etc. I had NO IDEA how much the little stuff adds up like my ranch salad dressing and ketchup and even my ice tea. SHEESH! And here I thought I had been doing great. Has anyone else used that website? Was it helpful to you? Its driving me insane. LOL I guess I am in denial about how many calories I really am taking in each day. SHEESH! LOL A food journal and myself just dont mix well!! hahahaha ~Jilly~

Oh yeah I used to track my foods at fitday.com.. But I absolutely love sparpeople.com and that is where I track my daily intake. Girl isn't it a trip that when you come to terms with wow I had no idea how many calories I was consuming all day.

Totally a trip to sit back and look at what all you take in each day. I need to cut back on the ice tea but God I cant go w/o it. LOL I didnt realize just how much calories I was taking in with just condiments. CRAZY! ")

When I was in the supervised weight loss phase with the surgeon pre op. I had to change a lot of my eating and drinking habits. I was a pepsi holic I would drink a 2 liter a day. I loved iced tea and girl when the nutritionist told me how much sugar I was packing in I had to stop.
I have been pepsi free since Dec 2007 and I switched from regular lipton tea to the Great value s/f from walmart. It took a while to getting used to and now I I hooked to them.
The sunrise orange is now my favorite. The best thing to do is to train yourself now so it doesn't hit you like a ton of bricks when you have surgery.

WOW!! See I have never drank a pepsi. LOL Im not much of a soda drinker of any kind. It makes me feel bloated. LOL
Ice tea though I am all about!! Mike makes my ice tea for me (Sun tea he calls it) and he uses Splenda. It took a while for me to get use to that.
I will have to hit Wal*Mart and check that tea out. Thanks

You know if he is making the tea from lipton tea bags when you steap it and add splenda then that is good. You can continue doing that. It is the lipton tea in the can that is loaded with sugar.

There you get healthy recipes, you have teams you can join for encouragement. You get exercise advice for example I can't go to a gym. But I get all these great exercise suggestions i can do at home. Let me know if you join. You can find my profile.
