WOW... what an ordeal.  I am so sorry you had to endure that.  Glad to hear you are progressing (albeit somewhat slowly).  You have a wonderful family support system too.  Wishing you the best.  Prayers for your continued progress and thanks for the family.

thanks for posting even though i know you're really not in the mood to sit in front of a computer for very long.  you sound so fatiqued.  i hope you can get the rest that you need.  so many folks on here were very worried about you, so i know everyone appreciates the effort you made today to update us all.  your inlaws sound like wonderful people.  my mil came to visit yesterday and brought me... candy.  thought that might give you a smile.

Thanks everyone. I'd write you all back individually, but I'm still so tired.

Update: I took the Vicodin around 11:30 last night and fell asleep on the couch on and off for about an hour.  H took me up to bed and I slept until about 6 or 7, got up, peed, took more Vicodin and went back to sleep.  H asked me if I wanted to get up around noon and I said no.  I got up to pee, sipped some water and went back to sleep until about 5ish.  I talked on the phone in bed for about an hour to my parents and then got up and took a shower.

I never thought I'd say it, but thank God I got my tooth pulled a couple weeks ago, because that Vidocin helped me get some precious sleep.  I may take some more in a little bit.  I've been having a little shortness of breath, which I just think is from weakness and pain.  Also my abdomen and thighs are kind of numb, which is weird.  My belly button area was/is numb from after the 1st surgery, and now just more of me is.

I've just never feel so exhausted and weak.  I'm always slightly nauseated and do NOT want anything to eat or drink at all, which is a departure from my first surgery.  The thought/smell of food makes me nauseous.

Oh, and the hospital was Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.  I will never go there again until it is like immediately life threatening.  I have started thinking it isn't good enough to be called Chesapeake Cat and Dog Medical Center.  When I feel up to it, I'm going to write a letter of complaint.  Dr. Moein was furious at the things I told him.

Now I am going to relax. Hope everyone is doing well with their surgeries and post and pre-op stuff.  Just TAKE YOUR PREVACID.

WOW, what a time you've had.  Glad you're home and hope your're doing better.  I agree that most ER's don't know a thing about treating WLS patients.  We'll just have to keep pushing to get them better informed.
Take care and take it slow for a while.

Goodness Gracious, girl!

Out of all the agony that you've experienced, you appear to still have a great disposition and a good mood.  You are amazing.

I hope that all of your past troubles are now behind you, and you can now get on with a full and speedy recovery.  Good luck to you!
