Morning Heather Im so glad you went and had a great time!!! It should make you twice as proud of yourself and all you have accomplished. You will be the inspiration to your niece and that is wonderful!!!

I used to live in Shady Side right next to the Captain Avery Museum LOL It was so nice and quiet down there. Can I tell ya when I moved to Pasadena I had a HUGE CULTURE SHOCK! hehehe

Hershey Park is our FAV place to go. We go every year and we were just there 2 weeks ago. We go every year in the Fall for NSA day too which is so nice because its cool and not crowded. My kids LOVE that place. That is so awesome that you could get on everything. Makes the journey SO WORTH IT huh? Good for you honey!! You should be so proud of yourself. ((((Hugs))))) ~Jilly~

Thanks so much Jilly!!!!
It really was an awesome day!!! I am proud of myself and on days that I have that are a little bit low, I will keep these memories to remind me just how far I really have come and what I have accomplished.

WOW! Small world! LOL I love it here in Churchton. I'm right on the water so I get that breeze which is very welcome on a day like today. I enjoy sitting on my pier in the early evening or right in the back yard watching the water. So peaceful is right! I can just imagine the culture shock you got when you moved!!! LOL I got that when I moved here 5 years ago and if I move away from here I'll have it again! It's such a distance from everything and with the cost of gas....it's getting harder to stay here anymore. Plus, most of my friends DON'T live in this area so I feel like I'm always traveling.

This truely was an awesome weekend and I am so glad I took the two days off to spend with my family and friends. Going back to work tomorrow is going to be HARD!!! LOL BTW YES, even with the downs that happen on this WLS journey....no matter what IT IS WORTH IT!!!!!

YES!!!! I use to LOVE sitting on the pier and the smell of the water and the country air. MAN I MISS THAT! LOL I dont miss that we had to drive 30 min just to get to a Giant. LOL I had to do a lot of shopping at Rennos and Food Rite. LOL
Im glad you had an awesome weekend honey. ") ~Jilly~

Well, you are welcome to come sit on my pier anytime you want that smell and feel back!! LOL OMG!! Rennos and Food Rite! LMAO!!!! Food Rite isn't so bad sometimes for somethings but they don't have a huge selection of things that are WLS-friendly all the time. So I tend to shop on the way home from work to save on gas.

Thanks...I may take ya up on that. I love sitting on the pier. hehehe

LOL I know right! I use to go to Food Rite only if it was a weekend and I didnt feel like making the HAUL to Edgewater! LOLOL Well that and if they had a really good deal. It was nice though everytime I was in there I felt so country. hehehe I miss that area though. We drove down there a few weeks ago just to see the old house again. It was a nice drive for us. When we lived there my husband complained all the time about the long drive down Muddy Creek everyday but now he kinda misses it. My Mom lives off Muddy Creek Rd. ;o)

I know exactly how you feel! Whenever I'm out of the area I feel very country in the city LOL but didn't grow up out there. It's just a different lifestyle and you get used to it. Did you go into Deale and see our circle? I tell ya it's up and coming out there in the sticks! LOL I know once I move (whenever that might be) I'll feel the same way your hubby does and miss it....right now though I complain! LOL Now that the new Walmart is open in Dunkirk and the Safeway is across the street from it I'll sometimes make that haul on the weekends and kill two birds with one stone...then I don't feel like I wasted as much gas. What ever made you move to Pasadena? I have a friend who lives in that area.

WOW!!! They opend a Safeway and Wal*Mart? AWESOME!!! I know when we left they were in "talks" to build one across from Millers Garage which now is all closed up. LOL
My husband grew up down this way and all of his friends and family are down this way. Also he works at the USCG yard which is less then 10 min from our house. So he likes that he can run home at lunch time and stuff like that. I miss all the country things about living in Shady Side though.
Im off to start work for the day. Have a great day! I will try to pop back in here during my lunch time. ;o) ~Jilly~
