WOW moments don't end!!!!
Good Morning!!!!
Let me just tell you all a little something....OMG! Being almost two years out my own personal WOW moments seemed to be less and less, which is fine and I expected that to happen the further out you get. BUT yesterday at Hershey Park was a HUGE day for me! Not only did I get to spend time with my niece, my mom and my brother but over and over again I was just WOWed! For the first time I really realized that I am of average weight and according to my mom (of all people LOL) I'm actually skinny. Going through the turnstyles on the rides I DID'NT HAVE TO TURN SIDEWAYS TO GO THROUGH!!!!!! Can I just tell you that I cried???? LOL AND I rode the rollercoasters, the other rides and I didn't have any issues fitting on any ride at all. My niece even told me that I was hyper because I was running around like a kid in a candy store LOL In the water park area I even took off my socks and shoes and was running around the water area getting soaked having a blast! I didn't go on one of the water rides but that was OK, a girl has to draw the line somewhere sometime! I had a great day in Hershey Park. I had so much energy and just wanted to do everything twice. I loved every second of it and yes, would go back in a heartbeat just to ride all the rides again! BTW I think my favorite WOW was when my bro, my niece and myself got on the Music Express and the ride shows that the heaviest person needs to be seated on the outside. For the first time EVER that wasn't me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was my brother!!!!!! That in all my life has never happened.
As some of you know, my 11 year old niece is obese and it has me very concerned. She brings her weight up to me and even more so now since my WLS. She and I had a long talk on the ride back to my house last night and even though I only see her twice a year I am hoping that even some of what we talked about sinks in. All I can do is be there for her, encourage her to eat healthier, exercise and do something NOW so she doesn't ever have to look at WLS as an option. We did have a great time at Hershey Park but it's sad when a 37 year old woman has more energy than an 11 year old child. I have her all day today as well so it will be great to spend more time with her!
Sorry for the long post but yesterday was such an exciting time for me and yes, I did make a lot of new memories I will cherish! If I don't have a chance to get back on the boards today, everyone have a WONDERFUL GREAT weekend!!!!! I know I will!!!! LOL

Yes it was fun althought thats when my car problems started and now it is fixed a thousand bucks later..............lol.
But yes cant wait till next weekend to go back. North beach is so cute and wasnt afraid to go in the water with all the creatures cause there were none :)

LOL yeah that was a first for me to not *****!!! Next weekend will be fun! I think Kristen and Karen are coming too. We'll make a party out of it! LOL Not sure if Karen has to work or not though. Those two are a trip and Friday night was FUN!!!!

LOL I know! I know! I just love that little beach!
I think we are going again this coming Friday. Get out your dancing shoes!!!! WOOHOO!!! LOL We need to get there earlier though for parking, ya know? That was the only irritating part of the whole evening but I did have a horseshoe up my butt and we did wind up with awesome parking in the end!!! LOL TOTALLY worth the 7 bucks!!!
I'm so glad your car is fixed and doesn't do that funny thing anymore. Did you make it to the grocery store yet today? I'm glad we are doing the 5-day...might wind up being the 4-day if we go out on Friday!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WOOHOO Shake that salt shaker!!!!!
