Oh, and to totally hijack the thread, any info/comments/advice regarding Dr. Schweitzer? I am going to his info session in a couple weeks in hopes of having him for my lap DS!

I never got to see the cell phone thing.  The page was blank.  I wish you well in your journey to get Lap DS.  I'm getting the same.  People come from all over the US to get DS from Dr. Schweitzer here.  He is an excellent surgeon and he likes for you to have educated questions for him at the consult, and to be prepared to explain to him why you choose DS. I have a typed list I got from JoTeddie if you are interested.  He has an excellent reputation and his CV is online at www.smallscar.com if you want to take a look.  Keep me posted! 

2 steps ahead of you--I've read every single page of his website, and then those of JH Bariatrics site. I've registered for his information session. I have a 3-ring binder of information--clinical studies, evidence supporting my decision for DS, surgeon information (I'm actually now also considering Dr. Elariny), my insurance requirements, my relevant health history, nutritional supplement schedules from other successful DSers, list of questions to ask at consultation, you name it!
